Interdisciplinary Pain Management Team:

The interdisciplinary team of Care Center Pain Management is directed by Glenna Tolbert MD, PM&R, Dr. Brenda M. Klass PhD, MFCC, DACFE, Diplomate American Academy of Forensic Examiners, and Richard North PhD, Psychologist.

The team has aggregated more than 50 years experience in treating chronic pain patients. This expertise allows the team to identify, diagnose and treat pain patients who may not be responding to a traditional treatment protocol.

Our Team's Personal Pain Management Experience:

Brenda Klass PhD, MFT, DACFE, the Founder of Care Center is a chronic pain sufferer. She spent 13 years of her life totally disabled and dependent on medications due to chronic pain. It was her own pain that lead to the development of a Care Center.

Steve Rice is also a chronic pain sufferer. For many years he suffered from disabling abdominal pain It was not until he experienced biofeedback training did he begin to experience some relief from his pain. His progress with biofeedback inspired him to obtain a Masters in Clinical Psychology and undertake advanced training in biofeedback.

Glenna Tolbert MD, another chronic pain sufferer. She suffers daily from pain related to Scolosis. To manage her pain she practices ballet, exercises, maintains good cardiovascular conditioning, and distraction techniques.
